The Jeffersonville Rotary Club has created a new committee to continue with the previous efforts of volunteers in Clark County by participating in the Veterans History Project, sponsored by the Library of Congress. Project partners from across the country have volunteered to interview U.S. Veterans and record their stories and contribute them to a growing database of wartime service memories.
Our primary focus will be on first-hand accounts of U.S. Veterans from the following wars:
World War I (1914-1920)
World War II (1939-1946)
Korean War (1950-1955)
Vietnam War (1961-1975)
Persian Gulf War (1990-1995)
Afghanistan and Iraq conflicts (2001-present)
In addition, those U.S. citizen civilians who were actively involved in supporting war efforts (such as war industry workers, USO workers, flight instructors, medical volunteers, etc.) are also invited to share their valuable stories.

If you are a U.S. Veteran and would like to share your war experiences with us, please complete the Biographical Data Form and click the SUBMIT button. One of our volunteers will contact you to schedule an interview. Interviews will be conducted with a video camera, or audio only recorder. Completed interviews will be submitted to the Library of Congress and will also be available at the Jeffersonville Public Library. We look forward to learning more about our Clark County Veterans and providing a means to chronicle those memories for future generations.
